Helpful Search Tips
  • The search returns up to 50 results from the LDAP server. It will not display the results if more than 50 results exists. If this happens, please refine your search.
  • You can use the "*" wildcard symbol to help you find people. For example, if you are looking for Barbara Johnson and you are unsure ofhow to spell Barbara, you can type in "Barb* Johnson" or even "B* Johnson" in the search box and you will get better results than if you were to simply type in "Johnson".
  • If you are unsure of how a name is spelled, you can use the Phonetic search method. This method looks up names by sound not spelling. For example, if you are looking for Stephen and you are unsure if it is spelled Stephen or Steven, you can type in "Stephen" and choose Phonetic as the search method. This will return results that include "Stephen", Stephan", "Steven", and even "Stefan".
  • Do not use the "*" wildcard symbol with phonetic searching. It will not affect the results of the search.
  • This directory only searches names, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers. If you are looking for all the people who live in Glaser House or all the people who live on Smith St., that will not work.
